Cross-border expansion remains structurally inefficient. We exist to close that gap.

How we see the corridor between Britain and Latin America — and the role we play within it.

Most cross-border consultancies treat language and culture as soft skills — the last item on a checklist that begins with strategy and ends with operations. The result is mandates that arrive at the negotiating table technically prepared but communicatively unprepared.

Nexo Advisory inverts the order. The practice starts from the conversation that has to happen — between a Madrid executive and a London investor, a São Paulo founder and a Manchester partner, a Bogotá student and a Cambridge admissions tutor — and builds the capability to make that conversation succeed.

The practice is deliberately narrow. Four services, executed directly by the founder. No subcontracting, no farmed-out junior work, no claims to disciplines the practice does not yet hold. What is offered is what is delivered.

The founder

Ashley Connor

British advisor with seven years of executive language work for multinationals across Spain and Brazil. CELTA-qualified with a specialisation in Business English. Working professional proficiency in Spanish (C1) and Portuguese (B2). The practice operates without a fixed office — engagements are run remotely or on-location with clients, depending on what the mandate requires.

"The companies that succeed across this corridor are not the largest, nor the best-capitalised. They are the ones that take cultural translation as seriously as financial modelling."
